	Not an Archetype

Obligatory Disclaimer: I don't own Utena. I'm merely borrowing the characters/plot/ideas.

**Not and Archetype**

What is that fool doing? Helping this _witch_, of all people! She sealed the prince away. She plunged the world into absolute darkness. She deserves the pain we give her.

Every.

Single.

Strike.

That fool should back out now. As long as the coffin's lid doesn't move another—Oh fool. Since she wants to save this _witch_ so badly, she'll be our new host. We charge. Entering her soul we find...nothing. Not a witch. Not a prince. Not even a princess! We (the million swords!) can do nothing to her. We leave the fool alone, and ravage the building instead.

A/N: There are many way to interpret the last moments of the duel. Maybe this drabble will coincide with yours. Either way, writing in the POV of the swords was fun. I might do it again.

End file.
